Staff really professional and helpful. Premises was clean and tidy. Not many people there. Nobody at the drive through. The beef in the double burger had a strange flavour. Salad in the burger was fresh. Chips were good. Service was faultless.
We did not like the flavour of the burger. We will not go back.

Waiting times
We visited Limerick from America and saw a KFC as we were leaving the city. Then we noticed the Hungry Lyons across the street and thought we would try something of a locally-based offering. Their store was clean and welcoming. They even have soft chairs almost like you would have in a living room.
The server at the counter was VERY patient with us as we placed our orders. I will say the one drawback they have is that their menu screens are constantly changing. Not one of them stayed up long enough for us to read what was available. I suppose that works great for locals that know what they want, but it was inconvenient for us, having never eaten there.
We finally settled on a chicken-breast sandwich with bacon for my wife, and an El Chippo burrito wrap. They both must have weigh 3/4 of a pound. I liked mine, my wife liked hers. She said the chicken was moist and tender. It was a full piece of battered chicken breast. We also had chocolate milkshakes, mixed by hand, not poured out of a nozzle.
They also offered a variety of pizzas. I saw what looked like a big, domed wood-fired pizza oven on the side.
Heck, if nothing else, the photographic mural they have on the hall on the way to the restroom is worth the visit. It's amazing.
First time in there today, 25/01/2026.
2 adults and 3 children. Order burgers and fries.
Waited about 15 mins for food. When arrived noticed that a chicken burger was missing. Burgers were just ok. Chips were barely warm and taste like they were cooked yesterday.
We ordered 5 desserts from the ice cream menu.
The ice creams with buttons had only 1 chocolate button added. Ice cream sundae served in a plastic water cup from a drinks dispenser, very small.
To be honest, the place looked tied and unkept.
Wasn't many people in there either. Toilets were broken and in poor condition.
Not the most best behaved scruffy clientele either.
Overall, safe to say won't be returning.
